hybrid_athletics_cffv_centaursOur Langley based CrossFit Fraser Valley program is based within the Hybrid Athletics Facility.

The CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

CrossFit delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our Armed Forces, skiers, mountain bike riders, youth athletes and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed the CrossFit prescription and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.

Personal Training

Our Personal Training in Langley is an amazingly effective and efficient way to achieve your individual fitness goals. Your Personal Trainer will work with you to identify and clarify your fitness goals, conduct a functional movement assessment, and design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimizing your strengths, thereby enabling you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible. Personal Training is recommended if you have been sedentary for a long period of time, are training for a specific sport or event, have significant health limitations or just prefer the additional attention and accountability.

Bootcamps

If you have been participating in bootcamps elsewhere, perhaps it is time to try our Langley Bootcamp and experience the “HYBRID Difference”! CrossFit is uniquely scalable. This means that no matter your fitness level or experience, you can perform functional movements catered to your ability. Hybrid Classes are 60 minutes of intense, fun and exciting exercise. Hybrid trainers have years of experience working with individuals of all abilities and groups of all sizes. This experience lends itself to an ability to create a workout that is not only challenging for all those involved, but also appropriate for everyone. The Hybrid Facilities 7000+ square feet & vast array of equipment allows trainers to create workouts that vary constantly in an effort to keep you learning new things, while developing practical fitness to enable you live your everyday life. Having an indoor facility also allows us to run classes year-round and in poor weather without risk of injury or illness. And when the weather is nice, we can go outside and enjoy the surrounding area and do some pretty cool stuff.

Team Training

Hybrid’s Coaches have extensive experience working with athletes and teams of all ages. Before they decided to branch out and create HYBRID ATHLETICS, Coach Nate and Coach Robbie worked at the North Shore Winter Club and trained all their Club teams including Hockey, Tennis, Swimming, Figure Skating and Curling. They also had many groups come from outside the NSWC to seek their expertise. These groups included teams and athletes from the North Shore Girls Soccer Club, Sentinel Soccer Academy, Sentinel Hockey Academy, Sentinel Tennis Academy, North Van Minor Hockey, Burnaby Lacrosse, Burnaby Winter Club, as well as numerous College, University, and Professional level athletes from across the Province.

Coach Nate has served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the NSWC, UBC Football, YWAM Hockey Ministries, North Shore Impact Soccer team. He has also worked as the assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Canadian Snowboard Federation, UBC Volleyball, UBC Soccer, UBC Basketball, the Canadian National Field Hockey Program, and has assisted with many other national level teams and athletes. Coach Nate and the rest of the team would love to have the opportunity to share his experience with your team and help take your team to the next level.

Youth Program

At HYBRID we believe that developing a Healthy Lifestyle is a lifelong journey. As a result, we are committed to providing opportunities for people of all ages to participate in elite fitness programs, develop confidence in themselves and learn about creating (and maintaining) good eating habits.

HYBRID Coaches strive to provide our younger population with positive role models to whom they can look up to, ask for advice, and share their successes with. Our goal is to develop a relationship with each and every one of our clients and Hybrid Youth are no exception to this. We expect all who enroll in our youth programs to not only bring their best effort and attitude into the HYBRID facility every time they come, but to approach the rest of their day with the same vigor. We commit to doing everything we can to help your child develop their athletic potential, and in return we ask them to commit to doing everything they can to achieve excellence in the other areas of their life (homework, family relationships, chores, etc).

We feel privileged to have the opportunity to help develop the youth of today into the leaders of tomorrow and we commit to doing our very best.
