Christine Girard Joins the HYBRID Team

2008 Canadian Olympian and 2012 Olympic Medal Hopeful Christine Girard has joined the Hybrid Athletics Team.  Christine is the strongest athlete in her Division in Canada and possibly the WORLD!  In 2002, she won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games which she improved upon in 2006 with a silver. She completed her Commonwealth medal collection with a gold medal in 2010. At the 2006 University World Championships she won the bronze medal.  She also won a silver at the 2007 PanAmerican Games. At the 2007 World Weightlifting Championships she finished 8th, with a total of 221 kg.  At the 2008 Summer Olympics she improved upon this by finishing fourth, with a total of 228 kg.  She holds the Commonwealth games record and the Pan-American Games record in the Clean and Jerk.

Christine will lend her expertise as a Olympic Weightlifting Consultant for HYBRID and CFFV as well as taking on select personal training clients when she is in town.  Welcome to the HYBRID TEAM Christine.
